In January 2005 I went down to Brighton Pier just as the sun was beginning to set. This shot has been edited in Lightroom where I have tried to give the colours plenty of punch and to accentuate the reds and blues in the sky
After nearly 2 weeks of continuous rain the weather finally broke and we got a glorious day. The wind also dropped to nothing causing Ullswater to look like a polished mirror. I'd been wanting to get this shot for years so was very happy that finally the conditions all came together for me.
I shot this a few years ago and have tried editing it several times before but wasn't happy with the result. This time I've used Lightroom and Silver Efx Pro to bring out some of the textute and tones in the the stone and sky
