Each year Brighton is host to Gay Pride which each year seems to get bigger and better and is now one of the highlights of the year and is a great day out for all the family. This year, as usual, the parade wound its way through the streets on Brighton before arriving at Preston Park for more festivities, games and music. I managed to secure a good vantage point just outside of Preston Park where I was able to capture the{mosgoogle right} parade arriving in all it's glory. This was one example where having a large and professional looking camera works to your advantage as many of the people in the parade and on the floats could see me and would instantly strike a pose, I assume they thought that I worked for the local press and that they would get their picture in the paper. I had originally thought about approaching The Argus to see if I could sell any of my photos but as they have staff photographers who always cover this event I must admit I didn't bother to investigate this further.
