Canon 24-85 f/3.5-4.5 USM
The Canon 70-300 IS is a nice lens and, for the money, an excellent choice but it does lack a bit in sharpness even with the IS turned off. I had only had the Sigma 50-500 for a few months and although the flexibility of this lens is great I found it too slow to auto focus in a number of situations.
I seem to be constantly hunting for the right camera bag and have gone through something like 7 or 8 bags trying to find the one that is right for me. I've tried Rucksacks, Sling style bags & Shoulder bags, huge bags, tiny bags and everything in between but nothing really seemed quite right. Big bags where too heavy for hours of use, small bags didn't hold enough equipment and whilst Rucksacks were great for hiking they were a pain at all other times. So could my new bag, the Lowepro Stealth Reporter D300AW be the perfect bag for me?
This weekend we made a trip to Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent primarily as a birthday treat for my wife's niece but I also took my camera gear with me in the hope of getting some new shots of the animals. So I took along my Canon EOS 30D and my Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L USM along with my Canon 2x Teleconverter and a monopod to see what I could get.
